Труден въпрос - от една страна пазара е пренаситен със счетоводители, а търсенето поне в момента не е голямо и работа се намира трудно. От друга страна тук имат доста по-различно разбиране за това що е то икономист. Ние някак приемаме за икономисти всички които са завършили някаква специалност в икономическо висше учебно заведение, докато в Канада под икономист разбират човек който е завършил микро/макро икономика и е с доста по-тясна специалност.mary_m написа:koia ot dvete profesii e po dobre da bade vodesta

Ако се подходи на принципа коя специалност има по-малък шанс, то по мое мнение поне - по-добре не пишете счетоводство.

Имам предвид Канада, за САЩ незнам как е. А наблюдението ми е от съвсем първа ръка. В момента за едно работно място - в сферата на счетоводството - се съревновават средно по 3-4 човека. Иначе ако отвориш сайтовете с обяви за работа ще видиш че има много обяви, но особено за новодошъл имигрант е много трудно да намери работа в тази сфера.Mr. Nobody написа:Koko,

A kakvo 6te kajete za ikonomistite sas specialnost Turism? Ima li hluab v tazi profesiya i 6te moga li da namerya rabota naprimer kato ekskurzovod?
Според мен, специалноста "икономист" е по-обща и може да се нагоди в зависимост от заемани длъжности и трудов стаж, т.е дори и да си завършил икономика на търговията да речем, а си работил в сферата на туризма си е що годе пак икономическа длъжност. А за счетоводителите доколкото знам има други изисквания.

Currently there is no great demand for accountants in Canada but some opportunities do exist. Salaries range from $25,000 to $60,000 p.a. depending on qualification and experience. Because employers are seeking people with Canadian experience it may be difficult to secure your first job in Canada.
ACCA members wishing to seek employment in Canada should contact ACCA Canada for further information and careers advice. On arrival ACCA Canada suggests that members should prepare their resume in the Canadian format, be prepared to take any reasonable job offered initially to allow time to obtain experience in the Canadian workplace and consider taking a part-time job or contract work until you are established.
For immigration advice members should contact their nearest Canadian Embassy, High Commission on Consulate. Or visit http://cicnet.ci.gc.ca for the department of citizenship and immigration (CIC) in Canada.

Learn About the Canadian Accounting Profession In Canada, the officially recognized accounting designations are the Certified General Accountants (CGAs), the Certified Management Accountants (CMAs) and the Chartered Accountants (CAs).
The Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) is the oldest and most established of these and its members enjoy practicing rights throughout the entire country and Bermuda. Members of the Certified General Accountants' Association of Canada (CGA) can train both in public practice and in industry and commerce. They have practicing rights across Canada except in Ontario where restrictions apply. The remaining body is the Society of Management Accountants of Canada (SMAC) which is the recognized management accounting body in Canada.
As in the USA, a great deal of control is devolved to the Canadian provinces. As well as having national offices, all the accountancy bodies have provincial offices. The national bodies are responsible for all matters of policy (e.g. accounting and auditing standards, syllabuses and examination papers) and the provincial institutes are responsible for administering these policies. The provincial institutes are also responsible for determining the admissions criteria for membership, although in most cases, guidance is sought from the national body.
Over the last two decades, there have been attempts to merge the accounting profession in Canada. However, due to the conflicting interests of the various accountancy bodies, a merger of the industry in the near future is unlikely.

Икономически Квебек си е част от Канада и няма чак такава разлика, а и в горните цитати се има предвид цяла Канада, включително и Квебек. За преоценка на дипломата - това зависи за какво ти трябва: търсене на работа, приемане в професионална асоциация, допълнително следване, също така и в коя провинция искаш да я правиш.
