Какво трябва да пратим освен самите паспорти?
Някъде бях прочел, че искат снимки, но в писмото, което получихме не се споменават.

По принцип, трябва да изпратиш паспортите + оригиналната бележка от Юнион Банк за платени такси за визи; обикновено с куриерска фирма.
Ако има някакви допълнителни изисквания, би трябвало те да са упоменати в писмото - т.е. ако искат снимки или описание на очи, ръст, коса и т.н., това трябва да е указано в писмото, което си получил.

Съгласен съм напълно и потвърждавам казаното от Ann. В поканата за виза пише какво трябва да се изпраща - това са:
- паспортите, които трябва да имат валидност не по-малко от 12 месеца и
- ако не сте платили визата ще има допълнение да пратите оригиналната бележка за платена такса за постоянно пребиваване /в момента тя е 415 щатски долара/.
- ако се иска нещо допълнително конкретно от теб, то ще бъде изрично споменато в поканата /например както е споменал petiov, ако искат някакви такива данни/
По принцип, всички останали неща, които се отнасят до снимките и описване /въпреки, че се иска на гърба на снимките само рожденната дата и имената, нищо друго доколкото си спомням според изискванията в офиц. сайт/ се прави при изпращането на документите до Букурещ, защото са необходими за медицинските формуляри и една снимка се поставя на Документа за постоянно пребиваване, който идва заедно с паспортите, в които има вече поставени визи в тях. Вече като сте на етап покана и получаване на визи, друго не им е необходимо.
Според мен, няма смисъл да пращаш нищо, което не ти искат, но разбира се, решението си е твое.

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.
In order to finalize the processing of your application, please provide us with the items cited below:
-ORIGINAL passports or travel document(s) with at least 12 months remaining validity for you and your dependent(s);
-proof of payment for Right of Permanent Residence fee for 2 persons (original Cash Deposit) - as of 1 June 2007 fees will be paid in Euros (325 USD x 2).
Your visas will be valid for entry to Canada until 23-03-2008.
Please ensure that the above items together with this letter are sent to the Embassy without delay. Your application must be finalized prior to the expiry of your medicals and with sufficient time for you to settle your affairs and make travel arrangements. Your immediate attention to this request is critical to the outcome of your application.
Given the importance and sensitivity of passports, they must be handled in a secure manner. Therefore, your passports are to be sent, at your expense, by pre-paid courier with the return cost included. The choice of the courier is yours. However, you may wish to contact DHL or Pegasus-Romania, both of whom have known experience in the handling and transport of secure documents. Applicants residing in Bucharest or the vicinity may wish to leave the above items in the drop-in box at the Embassy. You should place all the items in a sealed envelope, indicating the file number and the phone number where you can be contacted.
Upon receipt of the above items, your application will be reviewed for final decision by a Canadian Visa Officer. In approved cases, a Confirmation of Permanent Residence form will be prepared for yourself and each member of your family. Immigrant visa counterfoils will be printed and placed in your passport(s). Your passport(s) should contain one blank page for your visa and one blank page for each child included in the document.
The passports, Confirmation of Permanent Residence forms and an explanatory letter will be returned to you using the same courier. Generally speaking, the documents are issued and ready to be delivered in 15 WORK days from the date they are received at the embassy. Please refrain from enquiring about the file status during that period; such enquiries only serve to delay the application processing. If you left the package at the drop-in box, you should come in person at the embassy to pick up the package, from Monday to Thursday, between 14:00 and 16:00. Please ensure that at least 15 work days have elapsed.
