Monkeys in Winter
Directed by Milena Andonova

Cast: Diana Dobreva, Angelina Savova, Bonka Ilieva, Philip Trifonov, Toncho Tokmakchiev
Plot Summary: "Monkeys in Winter" is a film about the human desire for happiness, our great will to achieve it and what cost we will bear to preserve it. It is a collection of three stories of three women who are separated and in fact defined by their social standing, their livelihood, and the era in which they live.
"Monkeys In Winter" depicts the human complexity and free will in a way rarely seen on the screen. These stories will make us laugh and will make us cry; they will move us and will make us shudder; they will fill us with indignation and will persuade us to forgive. We shall see ourselves in the three heroines and we shall go on as we are all faulted as humans and we transgress. Especially in the name of love.
