On May 19, 2009, photo radar and red-light cameras will be introduced in Quebec. A total of 15 locations will be monitored as part of an 18-month pilot project aimed at improving accident statistics in some of the province’s most dangerous zones. Motorists will benefit from a three-month grace period when the technology is implemented in May, but after that, violators will be ticketed. Following are the details of the project.
The sites were chosen jointly by the Ministère des Transports and the Ministère de la Sécurité publique, based on the high incidence and seriousness of accidents and how hard it is to maintain police control there.

В наше село тия ги има от години на 40-на кръстовища. Сега ги ъпгрейдвали да снимат и за висока скорост.... Криза - трябва пари да се събират от някъде...
As of April 1, there will be "Speed on Green" cameras installed at the following intersections, which means that you will get a photo radar ticket if you are speeding through these intersections.

Апропо, ако някой пресича Декари в района на метростанции Намур и Де ла саван, много да внимава, да не е на червено. Направи ми впечатление присъствието на полицейски коли, а се оказа че пишели тикети по 37$ на пешеходците, които пресичат на червено.

37 са малко трябва по 150 да им лепат, като офце вървят. А на колоездачите и по 300 пак ще са им малко. Те са пълни олигофрени.
